Srinagar: Four persons, who were evading police for several years in different cases, were arrested from the Baramulla district of north Kashmir, officials said Sunday.

They have been identified as Manzoor Ahmad Shah, son of Abdul Majeed Shah, resident of Eidgah Srinagar; Mohammad Rafiq Khatana, son of Saif Din, resident of Rengawali Tangmarg; Mohammad Yousuf Sheikh, son of Ghulam Rasool, resident of Bujthalan Boniyar, and Babar Bashir Pala, son of Bashir Ahmad, resident of Krankshivan Sopore.

Police said that these four persons were evading arrest in connection with cases registered in 1998, 2011, 2014 and 2022, respectively.
