PM Modi has transformed J&K from terrorism capital to tourism capital: Tarun Chugh
FacebookTwitterWhatsapp

Srinagar: BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh, who is also the party in-charge of J&K, Monday warned PDP president Mehbooba Mufti against spreading a divisive agenda among the people for her petty political reasons in view of the coming Lok Sabha elections.

In a statement Chugh took exception to the manner Mufti has been spreading anti-India narrative in J&K and said it is time that Muftis and Abdullahs along with the Gandhis realise that the people in J&K would not accept nepotism and family rule in the Union Territory.

Chugh said “raking up the Pulwama issue at a time when the J&K was moving towards a new era of development and progress only indicated frustration in the Mufti family.

“It seems that Mehbooba is trying to seek help from her mentors across the border to once again create a situation of disturbance and violence in J&K to garner votes,” he said.

Chugh said “the way the Modi government has written a new chapter of peace and amity in J&K there are all indications that Abdullahs and Mufits would only lick the dust in the coming elections.”
