MeT forecasts ‘fairly widespread’ rain in J&K

Srinagar: Meteorological Centre Srinagar on Monday predicted cloudy weather with possibility of light rains, snow at many places with thunder, lightning and gusty winds over plains of Jammu and Kashmir on March 21 and 22.

An official stated that the weather condition is expected to remain generally dry during March 18 and 20.

He said during March 21 and 22 the weather will remain generally cloudy with possibility of light rain, snow at many places with thunder, lightning and gusty winds over plains of Kashmir and Jammu divisions.

He also said that after March 23 the weather will remain generally dry.

The official added that from March 24 to 25 the weather is expected to remain partly to generally cloudy with light rain and snow at few places in Jammu and Kashmir.
