New Delhi: All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary & Former JKPCC President Ghulam Ahmad Mir today said that Congress cadres are duty-bound to abide by the directions and decisions of the Party High Command.

Mir also said that “INDIA Block” the amalgamation of several parties needs to maintain unity to overcome the challenges.

Mir described Congress Cadres as disciplined soldiers of the Party and expressed full confidence that they (Cadres) have full faith in the policies, programmes and decisions of the Party High Command, urging upon Congress Leaders and workers to feel confident and abide by the Party directions with sincerity and honesty.

Mir said the decisions of the Party High Command viz a viz announcing candidature with regard to the forthcoming Lok Sabha Elections or any other decision pertaining to the organization in Jammu and Kashmir will be and should be respected and fervently welcomed.

Commenting on the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, Mir averred that these elections are going to be more challenging given the fact BJP will go to any extent for the sake of power, for that matter, the INDIA Block needs to be stronger to overcome the divisive policies, fake narrative and political exploitation unleashed by the BJP for the sake of power.

“The INDIA block which is the amalgamation of several parties needs to maintain unity to overcome divisive politics, and injustice and bring the Nation out of the morass,” Mir added.

Referring to the ongoing Bharat Jodo NYAV YATRA, Mir said the yatra will culminate at ShivaJi Park in Maharashtra on 17th March after covering 6700 Km. “The Yatra is for justice for every section of the people living in the country particularly Kissan, youth, women, jobless, business community including small businessmen and various other sections, who are the victims of BJP’s injustice and wrong policies. Congress Party stands guarantee to justice to every section living in the country, the Yatra is the manifestation of the Party’s uncompromising fight for justice and its commitment towards the deliverance of justice and well-being of the people.”
