Srinagar: Police in Baramulla have solved a burglary case by arresting three accused persons and recovered stolen property from their possession, a police spokesperson informed Wednesday.
He said acting on a complaint from one Abdul Aziz Bhat of Bhat Traders about theft at his hardware store, a case was registered at Police Station Sheeri.
During investigation, CCTV footage was collected and analysed which revealed the involvement of a salesman and his two associates in the theft. Subsequently, Wali Mohammad Bhat, son of Ali Mohammad, resident of Bimar Boniyar and Zubair Ahmad Lone, son of Abdul Rashid of Budmulla Sheeri, were arrested and stolen property worth Rs 5 lakhs was recovered from their possession, police said, adding investigation is going on and more recoveries are expected in the case.
