Secretary inspects functioning of Government Press

SRINAGAR: Secretary ARI and Trainings, Shabnam Kamili, today visited the Government Press Srinagar, Sempora and inspected the functioning of all its sections.

The Secretary had an extensive tour of different sections of the press complex where she inspected the ongoing works. She interacted with the press employees enquiring them about the functioning of their respective units.

She also took stock of election-related works besides other government tasks being executed in different wings of the press. She directed the General Manager of Government Press Srinagar, Aijaz Ahmad Akhoon, to execute and expedite the Lok Sabha election works on a priority basis.

The Commissioner Secretary ensured the press officials that their HR issues would be addressed promptly including holding of DPCs. In this regard, he instructed the General Manager to furnish proposals to the Administrative Department.
