Jmu-Sgr nat’l highway reopens for one-way traffic after 2-day closure

Srinagar: Authorities on Monday restored partial traffic movement at Dalwas on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.

The officials said that heavy motor vehicles (trucks) are being cleared after one-sided traffic movement was restored at Dalwas on the arterial highway.

They advised people not to undertake journeys on the highway will the road is fully restored.

“Partially restored (single way) at Dalwas on Jammu-Srinagar NHW (NH-44), stranded HMVs (trucks) are being cleared. People are advised not to undertake journey on Jammu-Srinagar NHW till the road is fully restored. Please ask TCU Ramban for latest update,” J&K Traffic Police said.
