Srinagar: A three-year-old girl died after drowning in a pond in a village in Bandipora district on Friday afternoon.
Quoting an official, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that a minor Dua Zehra (3), daughter of Kifayat Hussain, of Peth Mohalla Harinara, drowned in a pond following which she was retrieved from it and taken to Trauma Hospital, where the doctors declared her as brought dead on arrival.
