ANANTNAG: Commissioner of Relief and Rehabilitation Department, Dr Arvind Karwani, today visited South Kashmir to oversee ongoing development projects and address community needs in the area.
During his tour, Dr. Karwani visited the historic Martand Sun Temple and took stock of facilities being made available to the devotees in the religious destination. He also inspected work being executed on upcoming sites at Mach Bawan Mattan and Wantrag Ranbirpora. He asked the executing agencies to ensure that construction works align with set quality parameters.
Dr. Karwani interacted with the concerned executive engineers and discussed construction-related issues, emphasizing quality and timely completion.
He also visited the Transit Camp Vessu and assessed the facilities being provided to the camp inmates, underscoring the administration’s commitment towards their well-being.
Later, Dr. Karwani had exclusive interaction with various delegations representing Mattan and Vessu, listening to their concerns and demands. He assured them of concerted efforts towards resolving their issues at the earliest.
