‘Martial Art Camp for Women’ begins at GCoE (IASE) Srinagar

SRINAGAR: Four days of ‘Martial Art Camp’ for the female students of the Government College of Education (IASE) M.A Road Srinagar commenced today.

The camp has been organized by the Department of Physical Education in collaboration with the Women’s Studies Centre, Government College of Education (IASE) M.A Road Srinagar.

During the inaugural ceremony, the four-day camp was inaugurated by the principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Seema Naz.

Daljeet Kour, Dr Towheeda Rasool, Dr Shaheena Rasool and Dr Gousia Nissar were also present at the occasion.

On this occasion, the Principal of the college encouraged the participating female students and also highlighted the importance of martial arts and self-defensive skills especially for women in day-to-day life.

She also encouraged Azmat Khan and Zaid Khan the Trainers of the camp. A total number of 31 female students participated on the first day of the camp.
