Srinagar: A girl died due to electric shock in the HMT area of Srinagar on Saturday, officials said.
Officials said a girl identified as Zeenat Nazir (15), daughter of Nazir Ahmad Sheikh, resident of Tangdhar Kupwara, presently residing at HMT Srinagar, received an electric shock and fell unconscious.
She was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead on arrival.
