Srinagar: Police have arrested a “notorious” drug peddler in Kulgam and recovered contraband substance from his possession, a police spokesperson informed Thursday.
He said at a checkpoint established at Dalwach crossing, police intercepted and later arrested one Imran Ahmad Parra, resident of Hutmurrah Mattan, Anantnag, after 2 kgs of cannabis-like contraband substance concealed in a bag was recovered from his possession.
A case has been registered in this regard, police said.
