Srinagar: A policeman from south Kashmir’s Pulwama district died after falling unconscious at his native place on Thursday.
A senior police official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that one policeman Umer Mushtaq, resident of Pulwama posted at DPL Pulwama, fell unconscious following which he was moved to SMHS Hospital Srinagar.
He said the cop breathed his last at the hospital and cardiac arrest is said to be the cause of his death.
Meanwhile, proceedings under relevant sections have been taken up in this regard.
