Srinagar: Police in Ganderbal attached properties of six proclaimed offenders who exfiltrated to Pak/POK.

In a statement issued here, Police said that on 28th of February 2024, in pursuance to an order passed by District Magistrate Ganderbal vide order No.13/DM/GBL, Dated 28-12-2023 in terms of Section 82, 83 of CrPC, Naib Tehsildar Kangan accompanied by Ganderbal Police attached immovable properties of six proclaimed offenders who have exfiltrated to Pak/PoK for attaining training of illegal arms and were involved in case FIR No. 82/2009  EIMCO Act of Police Station Kangan.

It is pertinent to mention that the offenders are at large across the border in POK /PAK.

The details of properties attached include Agricultural Land measuring 01 Kanal 01 Marla under Survey No.134 situated at revenue Estate Kawcherwan Kangan belonging to proclaimed offender Bashir Ahmad Bhat S/O Gh Mohd Bhat R/O Kawcherwan Kangan, Agricultural Land measuring 19.5 Marlas Estate Tangchatter under Survey No.185 registered on the name of proclaimed offender Mehraj ud Din Shah  S/O Mohd Syed Shah R/O Tangchatter Kangan and Agricultural Land measuring 1 Kannal 6 Marlas Estate Akhal under Survey No.988 registered on the name of proclaimed offender Fayaz Ahmad Shah S/O Mohd Yousuf Shah R/O Tangchatter Kangan.

It also includes Agricultural Land measuring 1 Kanal 9 Marlas Estate Tangchatter under Survey No.13 registered on the name of proclaimed Fayaz Ahmad Shah S/O Mohd Yousuf Shah R/O Tangchatter Kangan, Agricultural Land Measuring 1 Kanal 6 Marlas Estate Akhal Survey No.988 belonging to Proclaimed offender Saif ud Din Shah S/O Mohd Yousaf Shah R/O Tangchatter Kangan and Agricultural Land Measuring 1 Kanal 9 Marlas Estate Tangchatter Survey No.13 belonging to proclaimed offender Saif ud Din Shah S/O Mohd Yousaf Shah R/O. Tangchatter.
