Srinagar: SIU Srinagar produced chargesheet against two accused persons including an “active absconding local terrorist” in NIA Court, Srinagar, police spokesperson informed Monday.
He said the chargesheet in case (FIR No. 37/2023 under section 4/5 Exp. Sub Act, 13, 18, 20, 23, 38, 39 UA (P) Act of Police Station Kothibagh Srinagar) was presented before the Court of NIA Srinagar against — Mohammad Rangrez, son of Abdul Rashid Rangrez, resident of Firdousabad Batamaloo (“terrorist associate”) who is presently on judicial custody at Central Jail Srinagar, and Momin Gulzar Mir, son of Gulzar Ahmad Mir, a resident of Firdous Colony Eidgah Srinagar, “who is an active absconding ‘A’ category local terrorist”.
The next date of hearing in the case is fixed on March 16, 2024.
