Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Crime Branch on Tuesday arrested a man posing as under secretary with Raj Bhawan even as probe is underway.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the man was arrested by CICE Jammu unit of Crime Branch after taking cognizance in case FIR 03/2024.
He has been identified as Firdous Ahmad Wagay, son of Ghulam Nabi Wagay of Waskora, Ganderbal.
The official said that some incriminating material including fake ID cards, seals and other documents used in the commission
of crime has also been seized from his possession.
He added that investigation of the case is in progress—(KNO)
