The concepts of “mind” and “Brain” are often used interchangeably in casual conversation, but they refer to different concepts:  At its simplest, mind refers to our ability to think, feel, and engage in physical activity. The brain, on the other hand, refers to the physical organ in our head that supports these functions.

Every human being has same organs (Brain, eyes, nose, ears, hands etc) but something is there which makes every human being unique and different in their own ways. It is their mindset which makes them different.

For instance, if people see fights and negativity all around them and undergo constant abuses, frauds, traumas etc, they start to believe the whole world around them to be same, and get their trust fall out with this world. They eventually get depressed, start overthinking and in the end, they stop putting efforts fearing the result to be same as it was in the past. They stop connecting with the people and love to be alone despite of the fact that inwardly they are longing for someone to be with them.

Similarly, when people keep hearing ill, bad and negatives of other people, things and society they start assuming the people, thing and society to be same as they were told about despite of the fact that they never faced them personally. It was the result of what they heard and eventually got their mindset set for the same.

A large number of cases of depression, overthinking, cheating, unhealthy relationships etc are because of nothing but just hearing from others and personal judgement. When students get to listen about the hard level and hardship during the exams, they start fearing of the results before even they have started the preparation of the exam despite of the fact that they can do well if they try hard and set their mind accordingly resulting in depression, overthinking, stress etc. Everyone has their own potential, one should atleast try before giving up.

If one had a toxic relationship, he/she will very rarely think of going into another relationship (be it of any kind), because he/she has made their mindset that if past was like this then all the other people will be same, which eventually brings them to a standstill position for including something new in their life.

Even animals behave in the way they are treated, in the way they see and hear.

How to Use the Power of Your Mind:

Start imagining your life the way you want it. Create a picture in your mind and think about that picture steadfastly all day long. Believe in it.

You don’t have to tell anybody. Have your own quiet confidence that you can make the picture in your mind come true.

You will start making different choices in line with your picture. You will take small steps in the right direction.

You’ll also encounter obstacles. Don’t let these obstacles stop you. Obstacles are right there in our way, not to be boggled at but to be surmounted. If you hold your picture of the life you want steadfast in your mind, you will eventually create that life.

What have you got to lose? Close your eyes and start now.

You will become what you think about.

WAY FORWARD:

Our thoughts are more than just thoughts. They are what guide us through life and define us. They mould our view of the world and those around us.

Author Napoleon Hill, said that “whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve”.  The mind is a powerful tool when it comes to aspiring to success.

If we believe we can be successful, more often than not, we will be successful. However, if we believe we won’t be successful, then we often fail. This doesn’t mean we are prophetic creatures, it simply means that we come to believe what rattles around inside our heads.

If you have a growth mindset, you will believe that you can work on improving yourself or that there is opportunity all around you. Whereas, if you have a fixed mindset, you believe you cannot change your capabilities and that there are limited opportunities to be had.You can either be held captive by your thoughts or set free by them. Whichever one you choose will determine the quality of your life.

“Everything hangs on one’s thinking. A man is as unhappy as he has convinced himself he is.”

Conclusion :

Yes, our mind is an epitome of audio-visuals, but remember not every person, situation, thing is same for every person, everyone has their own uniqueness. Surrounding oneself with positive thoughts, people, mindsetetc can definitely help overcome negative thoughts, weak mindset and build a strong & positive mindset.

“Remember no one is special in this world unless we make them special in our life, if we don’t make them special, they are just random people in this world”. Our feelings are in control of no one but us, so choose accordingly.
