Srinagar: A woman died due to asphyxiation caused by an LPG heater at her residence in the Mustafabad area of Srinagar on Wednesday afternoon.
News Agency Kashmir Scroll (KS) reported that a woman — Rukaya Fayaz, wife of Fayaz Ahmad Bhat, resident of HMT — fell unconscious at her residence due to asphyxiation in the Mustafabad area.
She was shifted to the hospital for treatment, however, doctors declared her brought dead.
Police have taken cognizance and the body was shifted to SMHS hospital for medico-legal formalities.
