The participants including PCC Office bearers & DCC Presidents briefed Wani about the preparations and other organizational activities including the conduct of workers’ and public meetings in their respective districts.

JKPCC Chief apart from the organizational activities and affairs highlighted the urgencies relating to Parliamentary and other elections, urging the party cadres to reach out to people and seek their support to Congress party’s pro-active role, its struggle and endeavours to safeguard their rights, which are under assault since the BJP assumed power and subsequently started dismantling the democratic institutions and democracy in J&K for the lust of power.

Congress is fully prepared for the upcoming Lok Sabha and other elections. I am confident that the Party will emerge stronger, Wani added and laid emphasis over working harder to ensure overwhelming public support for the Party.

JKPCC Chief slammed the BJP’s policies and its actions based on lies and deceit to secure votes, but the people have decided to defeat the BJP for failing them on all counts and punishing them under the garb of various anti-people measures, especially tax terror, smart metering, failures to contain unemployment, economic crisis, lack of development and deliberate move to assault public rights to serve its vested interests for the sake of power.

Those who spoke on the occasion included PCC Vice Presidents, General Secretaries, Mahila Congress President, PCC Secretaries, District Congress Committee Presidents and others.

Mahila Congress President Shameema Raina, JKPCC Vice Presidents Nissar Ahmad Mundoo, Gulsher Khan, General Secretaries Mir Ruvais, Shameema Iqbal, Shaheena Neda, Mir Iqbal, Fayaz Ahmad Mir, Waseem Ahmad Shalla, Master Mohd Maqbool, Irfan Naqashbandi (Chairman War Room), Ch.Gulzar, Anayatullah Rather, Adv.Muzamil Mushtaq, Manzoor Ahmad, DCC Presidents Imtiyaz Ahmad Khan, Amanullah Mattoo, Gh.Qadir, Nazir Ahmad Lone, Irshad Budoo, Er.Muzaffar, Haji Mohd Yousuf, PCC Secretaries Altaf Malik, Sheikh Amir, Muzaffar Shah and others.
