Srinagar: The residents of Mohalla Bagh Roop Singh Khanyar are grappling with an acute shortage of drinking water, with the issue persisting despite efforts to draw attention to it.
Despite their appeals to the Executive Engineer of the Jal Shakti Department, the problem remains unresolved, leaving locals in dire straits.
The residents said that the water shortage is affecting various aspects of life, including hygiene, health, and overall well-being.
“Access to clean water is a basic necessity, and it is unacceptable that our pleas have been ignored for so long,” they said.
The residents have sought recourse from higher-ups in the government hierarchy to address water scarcity issue.
