JAMMU: Secretary, Cooperative, Babila Rakwal, today visited the Cooperative Complex, Bantalab and reviewed the functioning of the department.

During the visit, the Secretary had an exclusive interaction with the employees regarding the working of their respective units. She emphasized the pivotal role of cooperatives in community development while highlighting various centrally sponsored schemes, with a special focus on “Computerization of Registrar Offices and ARDBs”.

The Secretary instructed the concerned officers to ensure cleanliness and proper hygiene within the complex. She emphasized the commitment towards creating a conducive working environment for the cooperative society workforce. She asked for an auction of dead stock and condemnation of obsolete vehicles to enhance operational efficiency and resource optimization.

Later, the Secretary listened to the grievances and concerns of the employees assuring an early redressal of the same.

Present on the occasion were Additional Registrar Jammu, Joint Registrar Special and Audit Jammu, Joint Registrar Banking and Finance, along with other officers and officials.
