The Labour Commissioner called for sustained efforts by the officers in generating awareness among the workers regarding registration on the e-shram Portal and the benefits associated with it and to ensure that no workers are left out. “Registration on the e-shram Portal will facilitate seamless delivery of benefits under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Man Dhan Pension Scheme (PM-SYM) and other UT and Central Government schemes to the workers.”

Charandeep Singh also reviewed the status of online services of the Labour Department wherein it was informed that the Department has fully switched to delivery of services through online mode and now these are being delivered via the J&K Single Window System.
