Babila Rakwal reviews functioning of J&K SCARD branches across J&K

JAMMU: Secretary Cooperative Department, Babila Rakwal, today reviewed the functioning of J&K State Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank Limited branches operating across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir at Civil Secretariat, Jammu.

Administrator, J&K SCARD Bank Limited, Rakesh Dubey, presented a brief note regarding the working of the Bank.

The secretary took stock of different aspects of various activities being carried out by all branches of the Bank. She exhorted upon the concerned officers and officials to further intensify their efforts to achieve the set targets within the stipulated time frame especially the time-bound recovery of NPAs.

Babila Rakwal cautioned that stringent action would be initiated against the poor-performing officers and officials of the Bank while asking all to perform their duties with utmost efficiency and dedication for the greater public interest.

She had a detailed branch-wise review and discussion on various vital aspects including deposits, loans and advances, CD ratio, recovery against NPAs, loan disbursement and other related issues.

The meeting was also attended by Registrar Co-operative Societies, Director Finance Cooperative Department, Additional Secretary, Cooperative Department, Managing Director, J&K SCARD Bank Limited, Managing Director, DCCBs and branch heads of all branches in both Jammu and Kashmir divisions.
