Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Kulgam and recovered contraband substance from his possession, a police spokesman said Saturday.
He said at a checkpoint established at Wanpora, Shamsipora, police intercepted and later arrested one Nisar Ahmad Ganie, son of Bashir Ahmad Ganie of Hussanporabagh after 3 Kgs of grinded cannabis-like contraband substance concealed in a nylon bag was recovered from his possession. A case has been registered in this regard.
