Srinagar: A dead body of an unidentified male was found by police during morning hours near Tengan Crossing, New Bypass NHW, a police spokesman informed Friday.
He said preliminary observation revealed that the deceased was run over by an unidentified vehicle during the preceding night (28-29 Dec, 2023).
After completion of medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased person has been kept in the mortuary of GMC Srinagar for identification, police said.
“Anybody having any information of the deceased person may kindly come to GMC Srinagar for identification or inform PCR Srinagar 9596222550, 9596222551 or Police Control Room Kashmir on 112,” police said.
