Baramulla: In the ongoing investigation into the recent killing of the former Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in Baramulla, the police have announced Rs 5 lakh reward for anyone providing information about the incident.
The retired SSP was shot inside a mosque in Gantamulla Bala village while he was calling ‘Azaan’ for the pre-dawn prayers.
Posters with details of the reward were issued by the police and pasted in markets around Sheeri and adjoining areas. The identity of the informant will be kept confidential, police pledged.
