Srinagar: A woman was electrocuted to death in the Puchal area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday.
Quoting official sources, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that one Tahira Akhter, wife of Mohammad Shafi Dar of Puchal suffered an electric shock and received burn injuries in the head.
They said that the woman was rushed to District Hospital Pulwama for treatment, where doctors declared her brought dead.
Police have taken cognizance and started an investigation.
