Pahalgam: In a bid to elevate its standing as a sought-after winter destination, Pahalgam, a captivating town nestled in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir, recently played host to a spectacular winter carnival.

The event, inaugurated on Christmas Eve by Deputy Commissioner SF Hamid, aimed to draw attention to the region’s natural beauty and cultural heritage, hoping to entice more tourists during the winter months.

Known for its breathtaking landscapes, featuring snow-covered mountains and picturesque valleys, Pahalgam sought to captivate the hearts of visitors through a series of vibrant cultural programs and art displays. The winter carnival showcased the rich heritage and traditions of the area, creating an immersive experience for locals and tourists alike.
