Srinagar: Three soldiers were killed and as many were injured after terrorists ambushed two Army vehicles in Thanmandi area of Rajouri district on Thursday, officials said.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that an anti-terrorist operation was being conducted in Dera Ki Gali area of Thanamandi since light.

He said that at around 3:45 pm today, two army vehicle carrying troops to the operation site was ambushed by terrorists in Dera ki Gali, also known as DKG.

“The fire was retaliated to, however, in the exchange of fire three soldiers got killed, while three were injured. Operation is in progress and further details are being ascertained,” the official said—(KNO)
