Addressing the meeting, Div Com directed for deployment of traffic police to manage the movement of all vehicles and to avoid any untoward accident by over-speeding, skidding, or overtaking.

For quick rescue, Div Com directed the deployment of SDRF personnel on the way to Zojila Pass besides the deployment of recovery vans.

To ensure the functioning of the communication system for close coordination and synergy among stakeholders, Div Com directed BSNL to provide glitchless services. He also instructed the usage of satellite phones for communication by concerned authorities.

Bidhuri further directed for establishment of a Joint control room and asked all departments to depute their experienced staff members.

Meanwhile, the officers from Kargil requested Divisional Commissioner Kashmir for the construction of a youth hostel to facilitate the students during their travelling.
