BANDIPORA: Acting sternly against violators of traffic rules, the Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Bandipora, Bilal Ahmad Mir Saturday blacklisted 15 vehicles beside 05 auto rickshaws plying without documents were also seized.
The ARTO said that during a special drive launched today on Bandipora-Sumbal road, 05 permits and 05 driving license holders were issued notices for traffic violations.
During checking about 45 vehicles were checked. On the occasion, an amount of rupees 35000 was also recovered from the offenders as a fine.
He further informed that checking of vehicles was carried on with a special focus on the installation of speed-limiting devices and overloading.
