Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Kulgam and recovered contraband substance from his possession, a police spokesman informed Wednesday.
One Mohammad Sanaullah Malik, son of Ghulam Mohammad Malik resident of Hanger, Kulgam was arrested at a checkpoint at Alamgunj Daderkoot crossing after 8 Kgs of poppy straw-like substance concealed in a nylon bag was recovered from his possession. A case has been registered in this regard, police said.
