GOA: On the fourth day of the ongoing 17th Film Bazaar, here, Union Additional Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (I&B), Neerja Shekhar, today visited the J&K Pavilion.
During the visit, the Additional Secretary interacted with the team of officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) at the J&K Pavilion.
She was briefed by Nodal Officer JK Film Policy about the initiatives taken by DIPR for promoting and reviving the film ecosystem in J&K.
She was also informed about the process of granting single window permission, subsidy components and the big ticket projects which were short by some of the prominent production houses of the country across different picturesque locales of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Additional Secretary on the occasion appreciated the efforts of the department for participating in such big platforms and encouraged them to participate in these kinds of events in future.
