Dr Farooq Abdullah meets party leaders at Nawa-e-Subha

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President and Member of the Parliament from Srinagar Dr Farooq Abdullah met party leaders at party headquarters in Nawa-e-Subha, Srinagar.

Party VP Omar Abdullah, General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani Sogami, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq Political Advisor to VP Mudassar Shahmiri, Senior leaders Sharief Ud Din Shariq, Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan, Nazir Ahmad Khan Gurezi, Mir Saifullah, Mohammad Syed Akhoon, Javed Dar, Imran Nabi Dar, Ahsan Pardesi, Showkat Mir, Irshad Kar, Shafqat Watali were present on the occasion.

Party functionaries apprised the party President about the challenges faced by the people in their respective areas. They said that shortage of drinking water, erratic power supply and non-availability of ration are the critical issues faced by the people.

They also highlighted the poor healthcare services, and shortage of medics and paramedics in the healthcare centres across South, Central and North Kashmir areas.

The Party President assured the party functionaries that he would raise the issues at appropriate forums.
