B2V-5: Administrator, Associated Hospital, GMC Sgr visits Panchayat Halqa Keegam

SHOPIAN: The Administrator, Associated Hospitals, Government Medical College, Srinagar, Hashmat Ali Yatoo, today visited Panchayat Halqa Keegam of district Shopian as a Visiting Officer, to take a hand appraisal of public issues under the Back to Village-5.

He interacted with people, PRIs, and field functionaries of departments and took stock of the developmental scenario of the Panchayat along with assessing the government interventions in the said panchayat.

He also took stock of the developmental works taken up in the Panchayat under different schemes and inspected the functioning of the government institutions.

He said that the aim of conducting the programme is to understand the issues of the public and to have an appraisal of their genuine issues for early redressal. 

The Visiting Officer also administered the pledge to the participants in the presence of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Zakir Hussain Faaz on “Nasha Mukt Bharat” to show resolve and commit to a drug-free society. 

The officer shall be on a two-day visit to the panchayat and will assess making the Panchayat vibrant in socio-economic parameters and a model of development.
