ACB, Directorate of Agri organise vigilance awareness prog at Lalmandi Sgr

SRINAGAR: To observe the vigilance awareness week 2023 and sensitise the employees of the department, the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) today organised a vigilance awareness program in the meeting hall of the Directorate of Agriculture Kashmir Lalmandi Srinagar.

The camp was organised under the theme of ‘Say No to Corruption, Commit to the Nation’.

Officers of Anti Corruption Bureau, Director Agriculture Kashmir Chowdhury Mohammad Iqbal, Joint Director Agriculture Extension G.M Dhobi, Joint Director Agriculture Inputs Tabassum Naz, Deputy Director Agriculture (Central) Waheed-U-Rehman, Director Rakhs & Farms Madan Gopal Singh attended the event.

Addressing the participants, the officers of ACB highlighted the importance of upholding integrity and honesty while working in the department. They asked the participants that it is a shared responsibility of everyone to work against corruption at all levels of work and eradicate this menace from society.

Speaking on the occasion, the Director of Agriculture said the objective of organising the event and inviting the experts from ACB is to fully sensitise the employees about their role and responsibilities to combat corruption. He said that nobody should tolerate corruption at any level. He said the best way to contribute to the development of a nation is to work for a corruption-free society.

The director asked the ACB to organise more such awareness programmes in the coming times so that the actual purpose of the theme could be achieved.

Joint Director Agriculture Extension G.M Dhobi and some other officers of the department also expressed their views on the occasion.
