Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Kulgam and recovered contraband substance from his possession, a police spokesperson informed Tuesday.
He said during checking at Badragund, one Riyaz Ahmad Malik of Ladigen, Nussu, was arrested after four kgs of poppy straw was recovered from his possession. A case under relevant sections of law has been registered against him, police said.
