Vigilance Awareness Week Pledge ceremony held at PHQ

Srinagar: To mark the vigilance awareness week, a pledge ceremony was held at Police Headquarters here today.

AIG (Training/Policy) PHQ, J.S Johar administered the pledge to the officers and personnel of the Police Headquarters.

The officers and personnel took the pledge to promote ethical business practices and foster a culture of honesty and integrity and not to offer or accept bribes. They pledged to adhere to relevant laws, rules and compliance mechanisms in the conduct of business, adopt a code of ethics for all employees, and sensitize employees to laws, regulations, etc. relevant to their work for the honest discharge of their duties.

They also pledged to provide grievance redressal and whistle-blower mechanisms for reporting grievances and fraudulent activities, protect the rights and interests of stakeholders and the society at large and commit to good corporate governance based on transparency, accountability and fairness.
