Sajad Lone tours Handwara Constituency

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference (PC) President Sajad Gani Lone conducted an extensive tour of the Handwara Constituency today, connecting with dedicated party workers and addressing numerous gatherings of local residents. 

During his visit, the PC President paid visits to Punzwa, Hurdoona, Hangnikoot, Tumima, and Drugmulla, where he engaged with local residents and PC supporters. Notably, in a significant show of support, over 50 families formally joined the PC in Hurdoona, Ramhal.

In his address to the people, Lone voiced his deep concern regarding the historical neglect that the Kupwara region has endured under previous administrations and governments. 

He emphasized that during his brief tenure in power, he actively initiated and facilitated projects aimed at securing a prosperous future for the people of Kupwara for generations to come. 

He made a solemn pledge that should the PC come to power, the development and prosperity of district Kupwara would be their foremost priority.

 PC President was joined on this significant visit by key party members, including State Secretary Farooq Chi Chi, DDC Chairman Irfan Panditpori, Ashiq Hussain, and Political Secretary to the PC President, Tasaduq Yaseen.
