Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Kulgam and recovered contraband substance from his possession, a police spokesperson informed Saturday.
He said a police party at a checkpoint at Asthal Bridge arrested one Showkat Ahmad Sada, son of Abdul Gani Sada of Ashthal after seven kgs of poppy straw-like contraband substance was recovered from his possession. A case has been registered in this regard.
