JKPCC Chief raised several questions about the performance of the Modi-led BJP government on various fronts, as it has been in power for more than nine years but still puts all the blame on all the previous regimes including more than twenty years of non-Congress governments out of which his own, for about nine & half years.

He questioned why there is a large escalation and unchecked price rise, and record unemployment, the rich are getting richer, the poor becoming poorer, the public assets are being sold to Modi ji friends and nobody can ask questions.

“Why the income of farmers has not doubled, and the promises made to them including the MSP guarantee not been implemented? Why the investors’ money in LiC and SBI was put at risk to extend benefits to Adani and why Prime Minister who used to claim to end corruption, not answer on the issue of 20,000cr invested through shell companies,” he questioned.

Raman Bhalla asked why an atmosphere of fear was being created and politics of division were being pursued in vote bank politics. He alleged that the Prime minister remains mute over atrocities on women, SCs, STs, OBCs, and minorities and is maintaining silence on the issue of caste census.

He said that during nine years of BJP, the constitutional & democratic institutions were weakened, the opposition governments were pulled down, and there was political Vendetta against the opposition.

Bhalla asked why the people of J&K are deprived of their right to have elections and elect the government of their choice. It was in 2014, the last election to the assembly was held and nobody knows when the next elections shall be held as BJP knows it will face a humiliating defeat.
