Qazigund: Four persons died in a road accident in Qazigund area of Kulgam district on Friday morning, officials said.

Earlier reports suggested that the driver of the vehicle was killed and six others were injured.

However, the fresh reports suggest that the death toll has reached four with three more succumbing to their injuries.

Sources said that a vehicle coming from Srinagar collided with a truck near walnut factory in Qazigund.

They said that driver of the vehicle died at emergency hospital Qazigund and 6 others were injured.

“Later, 3 more persons succumbed to their injuries, taking the death count to 4,” they said.
