Kokernag: ‘I N D I A’ will defeat NDA in the 2024 LS elections and in the upcoming assembly elections in different States, Congress Working Committee Member Ghulam Ahmad Mir on Sunday said that dictatorship, and assault on parliamentary democracy are unacceptable to the Nation.

Mir also said the propaganda unleashed against INDIA won’t change the reality or hide the utter failures and anti-people policies of NDA which are responsible for the extreme joblessness, loot of public money and the lust to empower some corporates linked to NDA at the cost of the country’s and public interest.

Mir was addressing a joint meeting of Public and party Workers in Halqa Nagam Kokernag in South Kashmir where he was accorded a rousing ovation after becoming a Member of the Congress party’s Highest Decision-Making body (CWC).

Addressing the meeting, Ghulam Ahmad Mir said it is evident that NDA is desperate about the upcoming defeat they are set to face by the INDIA, which represents the aspirations of 1.40 Crore Public of India. “The public has been pushed towards darkness by the ruling dispensation (NDA) at the Centre, they want to change, and the INDIA alliance will ensure that change for the betterment, prosperity and equal development of all Indians.”

Mir said INDIA is not only an alliance but is also a revolution, which is strong enough fully capable of bringing the Nation out of the morass, darkness, coercion, and vendetta politics unleashed by the NDA for the lust of power. “Nation awaits change for betterment, economic stability, employment, safety from internal and external threats etc, for that matter, the INDIA alliance came into being. INDIA feels highly concerned about the assault on parliamentary democracy and other democratic institutions, but it (INDIA) will ensure that these are no longer ruined or used by the NDA for the sake of power or to suppress the genuine voices being raised in the public and National interest.”

“The desperation and the sense of defeat are visible in NDA, they are hell-bent upon diverting the attention of the public from real issues and adopting various other nasty measures while trying to bring flawed policies to avoid defeat,” Mir added and expressed full confidence that INDIA will overcome all the challenges and ensure NDA defeat.

DCC President Ali Mohd Mantoo, Mohd Iqbal Mir, Gh.Hassan Bhat, Manzoor Ahmad Rather(BP Kokernag), Mohd Saleem Ganie BP Sagam, Majid Chowdhary BP Larnoo and various other leaders and frontal organizations addressed.

On this occasion, scores of prominent political activists from different parties joined INC.
