KCCI delegation, VP J&K Apni Party call on LG

SRINAGAR: A delegation of the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry led by its President Javid Ahmad Tenga called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan, today.

The members of the delegation briefed the Lt Governor on their future endeavors including a Business Conclave to promote trade and business in the UT.

Meanwhile, Zafar Iqbal Khan Manhas, former MLC, and Vice President of J&K Apni Party called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan.

Manhas apprised the Lt Governor on various issues of the public importance of Shopian including providing a boost to the horticulture sector, construction of the road from Army camp Chanchmarg Shopian to Dubjan, construction of the Zarkan Bridge, upgradation of the High School building at Shahabad, upgradation of water supply schemes of Kandi Areas of Shopian, promotion of tourism and smooth implementation of PMAY. 

The Lt Governor assured the former Legislator of appropriate action on the genuine issues put forth during the interaction. 

Meanwhile, Harendra Kumar, Additional Director General Border Roads Organization (North West) called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan.
