Srinagar: To mark the 77th Independence Day-2023, a grand function is scheduled to be held at Bakshi Stadium Srinagar on August 15 during which the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha will hoist the National Flag.
The civil society members, trade unionists, trade and transport federations, politicians, students and the general public are continuously approaching the office of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir for issuance of the visiting passes to attend and witness the event, an official press release said Monday.
It said “accordingly, the general public including the civil society members, trade unionists, trade and transport federations, politicians, students etc. are hereby cordially invited to attend Independence Day Function-2023 at Bakshi Stadium.
“They are to be seated before 9.00 AM to make the event more graceful and colourful. The valid identity cards shall be treated as entry passes for the venue,” the press release said.
