Jammu: Surjit Singh Slathia, former minister called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan here today.

Slathia discussed with the LG various issues of development and welfare of the people, an official press release informed.

It said Lt Gen Sandeep Jain, GOC 16 Corps also called on the LG and apprised him of the prevailing security scenario.

Devender Singh Rana, former legislator and senior BJP leader called on Sinha today.

Shehnaz Ganai, former legislator, also met the LG.

The former legislators submitted the memoranda to the LG and apprised him of the various issues of common masses.

The LG assured the former legislators of appropriate action on the genuine issues put forth in the memoranda, official press release said.
