Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir police on Friday clarified that regular uninterrupted Friday prayers are taking place at the historic Jamia Masjid every week.

In a tweet, Srinagar police said that Friday prayers are going on smoothly in Jamia Masjid (today), contrary to some statements, regular uninterrupted Friday afternoon prayers do take place at Jamia Masjid every Friday.
