Srinagar: Police in Baramulla recovered an abducted girl and arrested the person involved in her kidnap, police spokesman informed Saturday.
Acting on a written complaint about abduction of a 16-years-old girl by one Gowhar Abbas, son of Mohammad Abbas Wani of Kralwari Chadoora, police after registering a case recovered the abducted girl within six hours from Gamandar Chadoora Budgam and arrested the accused kidnapper on the spot, a police spokesman said.
He said after medico-legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her family while further investigation into the matter is going on.
