Special issue of monthly news magazine “The Valley Reporter” released

Anantnag: The Special Issue of the Monthly News Magazine “The Valley Reporter” was released today at Khan e Qah e Hydari Grandwam Aishmuqam. 

The magazine was released by the founder Khan e Qah e Hydari & Islamic Scholar Dr. Mohammad Sameer Shafi Siddiqui in the presence of the Chief Guest of the function DFO Ladder Forest Division, Dr. Mehraj Ahmad, Editor in Chief, The Valley Reporter, Gulzar Ahmad Ganie & Senior Journalist Javaid Sagar.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mohammad Sameer Shafi Siddiqui said that Journalism is not only a profession but a mission where Journalist is supposed to bring forward the truth without any bias or exaggeration, adding that greater responsibility lies on the shoulders of Journalists to act like a bridge between the people and the administration for the betterment of the society. 

He congratulated the entire team of the Weekly magazine “The Valley Reporter” for publishing the magazine regularly with honesty and dedication.

Chief Guest of the function, DFO Lidder Forest Division, Dr Mehraj on the occasion said that he is a regular reader of the monthly magazine, The Valley Reporter, and has always found it very informative, upholding the values & ethics of Journalism.

Senior Journalist Javaid Sagar in his speech while congratulating the editorial team of the magazine said that the content of the special issue is not only current but informative & rich too. He added that the cover story of the issue dedicated to Dr. Mohammad Sameer Shafi Siddiqui has nicely been written, which enlightens & enriches the reader about the contribution of the Scholar to Islam and compels the reader to know more & more about him.

Journalists including Najeem Shame from Sach News, Mohd Rouf Dar from Daily Dainik Bhaskar, Mohd Aamir Rah from JK News Point & Syed Ishrat Nazir Shah from Awaz e Bar e Sagheer covered the event for their organizations.

Editor in Chief of The Valley Reporter, Gulzar Ahmad Ganie welcomed & thanked the guests while Professor, Dr Zubair Alvi conducted the proceedings of the programme.
