Provincial President, Jammu, S. Manjit Singh was also present on the occasion.

During their meeting, the deputation members informed Altaf Bukhari about the worst road condition across Udhampur, Beerma Bridge and the bridge at Samroli especially during the rainy season.

They said that the remote areas and even Udhampur town is underdevelopment and civil administration and other field departments do not listen to the people.

“The electricity and drinking water crises has also worsened in Udhampur and its remote areas but these concerns mostly remain unconcerned,” they informed.

On hearing them patiently, Altaf Bukhari assured that he will highlight this issue with the concerned authorities.

He also expressed concern over the widening gap between the people and administration where public issues mostly remain unaddressed.
